Product Overview Sodium chloride (NaCl), commonly known as salt, is supplied in different purity grades and particle sizes for industrial applications. De-icing salt is used to help control ice formation and support winter road maintenance. Industrial salt and de-icing salt have different quality requirements and should be specified separately. For chemical processing or water softening, please include the applicable purity and physical-form specifications. Inspection, sampling methods and destination-specific requirements should be included so that the proposed grade and supporting analysis can be reviewed.
