Product Overview Rock phosphate, also known as phosphate rock, is a naturally occurring mineral raw material containing phosphate-bearing minerals, principally from the apatite group. It is used in phosphoric acid production and phosphate fertilizer manufacturing. Product suitability depends on phosphorus content, mineral composition, impurity levels and physical sizing. Commercial specifications may express phosphate quality as P2O5 content or BPL (bone phosphate of lime). Please provide any limits for calcium oxide, silica, iron and aluminium oxides, magnesium oxide, carbonates, chlorides and relevant trace elements. For acid production, include any additional process-specific requirements. Inspection, sampling methods, documentation and destination-specific requirements should be included so that the proposed material and supporting analysis can be reviewed.
