Potash Feldspar
Arbyan Investment & Development supplies potash feldspar for ceramics, glass and industrial mineral applications. Send us your required chemical analysis, particle size, quantity and destination port to request a quotation.
Product Overview
Potash feldspar, also known as potassium feldspar, is a potassium-bearing aluminosilicate mineral used as a fluxing raw material. It contributes potassium, alumina and silica to ceramic and glass formulations.
Product suitability depends on potassium content, the balance of other alkalis, iron levels, mineral composition and particle-size distribution. Natural feldspar products may contain associated minerals that influence processing and finished-product properties.
Applications
• Ceramic tile and ceramic body manufacturing
• Sanitaryware production
• Glass manufacturing
• Glazes and frits
• Selected mineral filler and construction-material formulations
Grade & Specifications
Please specify the intended application and required potassium oxide (K2O), sodium oxide (Na2O), alumina (Al2O3) and silica (SiO2) contents. Include limits for iron oxide (Fe2O3), titanium dioxide (TiO2), moisture and other relevant constituents.
Please provide the required physical form, particle-size distribution and sieve residue. For ceramic applications, include any requirements for fired colour, fusibility and firing performance.
Required test methods, inspection and destination-specific requirements should be included so that the proposed material and supporting analysis can be reviewed.
Packaging & Supply
Please state whether bulk shipment or bagged supply is required. For bagged shipments, specify the preferred bag size, pallet requirements and shipment quantity.
Available grades, sizing, packaging, loading arrangements and delivery timing will be confirmed with our quotation.
