Product Overview Dolomite is a naturally occurring carbonate mineral composed primarily of calcium magnesium carbonate. It is used as a source of calcium and magnesium and as a raw material in glass, metallurgical, construction and other industrial processes. Product suitability depends on chemical composition, impurity levels, particle-size distribution and processing. Raw dolomite and calcined dolomite have different properties and should be specified separately. Include the required calcium oxide (CaO), magnesium oxide (MgO), silica (SiO2), iron oxide (Fe2O3), moisture and loss-on-ignition values, where applicable. Please provide the required particle-size distribution and any limits for additional impurities. For agricultural use, include requirements for neutralizing value and fineness. Inspection, sampling methods and destination-specific requirements should be included so that the proposed material and supporting analysis can be reviewed. Packaging & Supply Please state whether bulk shipment or bagged supply is required. For bagged shipments, specify the preferred bag size, pallet requirements and shipment quantity.
