Product Overview Hydrated lime, also known as slaked lime, is an alkaline material produced by reacting quicklime with water. It is commonly supplied as a powder and used for pH adjustment, acid neutralization and selected precipitation processes. Product suitability depends on calcium hydroxide content, available lime, fineness and impurity levels. Hydrated lime and quicklime are different products and should be specified separately.
